"CITGO CITGARD 500 HSN Engine Oil SAE 20W-50 is specially formulated and engineered for diesel engines operating in severe conditions requiring extra protection to maintain engine cleanliness and wear protection. Also an excellent choice for higher mileage or older diesel engines, it provides improved engine cylinder liner oil film retention that improves piston ring and liner sealing resulting in reduced oil consumption and improved engine efficiency. CITGARD 500 HSN Engine Oil SAE 20W-50 is recommended for diesel engines operating in a variety of severe conditions and an excellent choice for transit bus applications and other fleet operations that can benefit from a high performance diesel engine oil.CITGO CITGARD 500 HSN Engine Oil SAE 15W-40 is specially formulated for turbo charged diesel engines operating in severe conditions and using higher sulfur fuel. Designed to provide improved performance for older engines and newer engines that are not equipped with diesel particulate filters, it is recommended for turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines operating with higher sulfur fuel, as well as Caterpillar ECF-2."
